Cagrilintide is an investigational once-weekly injectable medication being developed primarily for obesity and type 2 diabetes treatment. It is a long-acting amylin analogue, meaning it mimics the natural hormone amylin, which is released alongside insulin after meals.

How It Works

Cagrilintide helps regulate appetite and food intake by:

• Slowing stomach emptying

• Helping decrease calorie intake
